"We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us."
Guest House Host
Hi, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kerin, and I am truly excited about this new endeavor. I hope you enjoy the accommodations and view as much as I do, and that you and your family can make wonderful memories here.
I am a Mom to 3 beautiful kids, and 2 Grandkids. My husband, Chris, and I love being near the water, and thought it would be lovely if we could share the experience with more people. It quickly became apparent to us that we could make this a reality and set forth in 2016 to make this happen. Welcome to the new Moonlit Pines Guest House. I should add as a side note that picking a name for our guest house was harder than building the house.
As a child I looked forward every year to our family trip, and still fondly remember certain parts that were my favorite. My hope is that this guest house will become a place where your family, friends and loved ones can reconnect and make memories that last a lifetime too.
I’m delighted that it will be a year round retreat for families near and far. That we have the ability to offer you an escape at Christmas with a 12’ fully decorated tree, or to let you entertain on New Year’s Eve with the possibility of fireworks to light up the country sky, or even take in some ice fishing or skating on the lake. With the never ending seasons, local events and festivals, as well as the Capitol Theatre which puts on some of the finest plays short of Broadway, you could just find yourself falling in love with our quaint little area and taking in all the beautiful sunsets and views more often than you thought.
I hope that you love it here as much as I do and that we can be a small part in creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Sincerely, your host,
Moonlit Pines Guest House
